Open Post: Hosted By The “Violent Fight” At An Olivia Rodrigo Concert

September 20, 2021 / Posted by:

Those who let out a “pfft” over 18-year-old Olivia Rodrigo being Gen Z’s punk-pop queen can eat it because she’s proven that she’s so hardcore that she’s got fans brawling at her shows. Page Six says there was a“violent fight” at one of her shows, so clearly her fanbase does not play around. But the sad thing is, this wasn’t even two teenagers fighting over a boy from their chemistry class; it was two grown women throwing hands. Moms gone wild!

Olivia may be huge, but since she blew up during Coronavirus times, she hasn’t performed live all too much. She performed at the 2021 MTV VMAs two weeks ago, and this past weekend, she performed her hits like drivers license and good 4 u at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas. Here’s Olivia’s full show if you want to watch it:

Olivia seemed blissfully unaware of what was going on, as she said to the crowd during her show: “You guys are just like the best crowd ever. This is amazing.” Little did she know that during the performance of her Billboard #1 single, drivers license, two women began throwing punches. But at least one of them is wearing a mask–safety first!

Did you see the little girl who absolutely threw hands for her mother? That’s a real one, good for her. Twitter reacted accordingly, and one person even pointed out the irony of a blonde and brunette fighting during drivers license since Olivia allegedly wrote the song about losing her boyfriend and co-star, Joshua Bassett, to blonde pop person, Sabrina Carpenter.

I mean, we shouldn’t laugh at those moms. Moms can be vicious! Muhammad Ali didn’t have shit on moms fighting over candles at a Bath & Body Works sale. But it looks like Courtney Love found a way to get back at Olivia for copying her–she was probably hidden in the crowd, instigating this fight from the sidelines. She’s gonna create a mosh pit at every Olivia Rodrigo concert until the end of time!
