Alec And Hilaria Baldwin Still Can’t Keep Their Mouths Shut

The Alec Baldwin trial continues apace with Alec and his lawyer, wife Hilaria Baldwin, both providing new evidence of Alec’s persecution and his complete and total innocence when it comes to the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, at Alec’s hand (if not his finger), on the set of the movie Rust on which he was also a producer. Now, I hear you, “how can he be on trial when charges haven’t even been filed yet?” What a stupid, stupid question, you thoughtless little pig. Alec’s been on trial in the court of public opinion since the moment that bullet left the gun. Nay, since time immemorial. And given the number of stirring speeches he’s already given from the stand, almost certainly against the advice of his “real” lawyers, the court of public opinion is the only one he’s concerned with at this time. Today, according to The Daily Mail, Hilaria posted an Instagram story claiming that Alec is suffering from PTSD, and has been since before the accident, and vowed to reclaim her voice, declaring the year 2022 “the year of us speaking again.” Huh? Maybe she meant speaking *in a Spanish accent* again.

I’m kidding, of course, Hilaria still has a faint trace of an accent. She’s got to keep it warm until all of this blows over. She still plans to be famous in 2022. And Hilaria says “this is not just a famous thing,” that she’s “at a place where I’m tired of not talking and I want to get to a place where I can use my accent voice.” To borrow Hilaria’s favorite word, I guess there’s no Spanish word for “infamous.” According to The Daily Mail:

Hilaria Baldwin has claimed husband Alec Baldwin is suffering from PTSD in her latest Instagram Story video, where she also complains about being a celebrity.

‘One thing I’ve learned from entering this famous world is that when you get negative attention whether it’s from trolls or tabloid media and people say to you just ignore it, that’s what they want.’

If you give them attention, that is literally what they want. The issue is if you don’t say anything, you’re giving them a space to speak for you and your silence sometimes speaks enough for them to be able to commandeer your story.’

Adding: ‘But it’s tricky because because you don’t want to be constantly just responding to every single crazy thing they say.’

Unfortunately, Hilaria didn’t elaborate on the “crazy things” people are saying. Are they saying that Alec accidentally killed someone at work? Because I agree that is crazy, but is also very much a proven fact. But then again, facts don’t exist in the court of public opinion, only truths, which are kind of like opinions and assholes. Look it up, it’s on the Baby BAR exam.

Hilaria then gave advice to her Instagram followers: ‘You need to reclaim your voice. And you’re allowed to speak. Have your boundaries. Know when to walk away. But you’re allowed to speak your truth because 2022 – year of us speaking again.’

Hours earlier, Hilaria documented her and her family getting this year’s Christmas tree.

Hilaria went on to chide “these people” (I don’t know who they are, their names don’t appear anywhere on her witness list) for purposefully trying to antagonize Alec knowing damn well that he suffers from PTSD.

Hilaria added that Alec is suffering from PTSD, and noted it’s not just from recent events. She did not give more details about what initially sparked his PTSD.

‘We often times have people creating new stories about us. Now my husband is suffering from PTSD right now.’

‘It’s something that is not just from what happened recently but he’s been suffering from this for a very, very, very long time and these people know this.’

Hilaria continued: ‘And they want to poke at him and they want to upset him. And then they want to create news about this. So if you create a news story then the next day there’s going to be tons of paparazzi and there’s going to be more stories that come off of that.’

If anyone is going to cause a scene for clicks it’s going to be Hilaria. And on her own terms/Instagram account!

Yes, he’s absolutely obnoxious and rude, but so was that reporter! So I get it. We hear you loud and clear but. But. BUT. The only life silenced and blown out like a tiny flame was Halnya’s. You know, the woman who was killed. Maybe get a grip. And some wigs, perhaps? I’m not a “real” lawyer either, but that’s my legal advice. Alec and Hilaria both deleted their Twitter accounts after Alec’s ABC News interview, so Instagram is the only avenue they have left to speak their truths. Alec also took to Instagram to post a long ass letter signed by some of the Rust crew members disputing that it was a chaotic and unsafe workplace.

OK, Alec, save it for the judge. And since we’re talking about the court of public opinion, the judge is just some random lady in Poughkeepsie named Judy who loves dachshunds and watching The View.
