Kanye West Is Suing Walmart For Selling Knockoff Yeezys
I’m sure Kanye West hasn’t been inside of a Walmart in the past twenty years since she’s become the savior of Hip Hop (in his own mind, of course) but he must have recently needed to downgrade his spending in the midst of his pending divorce to soul-numbing succubus Kim Kardashian. Because I can’t think of another reason as to why he was perusing their sad shoe section unless Kim is siphoning whatever money he’s making to prepare for her next round of plastic surgery, virtually leaving him headed to the poor house. But Kanye and his design company, Yeezy, are big mad that Walmart is selling a bootleg version of his alien clogs from ugly hell and they’re taking legal action.
According to TMZ, Kanye can’t believe someone else would rip off his design on a shoe that looks like something one of his kids drew then ran to him and said “Make this now Daddy!” because those shoes are trash. And at $75 a pop, I have no idea how they sold out on the day of their debut. I guess Walmart took one look at those fused tentacle-looking monstrosities and realized they wanted to get in on the action as well so they allegedly presented their version for the still too high price of $24.49.
According to new legal docs — obtained by TMZ — Kanye and his company, Yeezy, claim the retail giant copied his famous Yeezy Foam Runner and left customers confused about whether they were buying the real thing or an imitation.
Kanye claims Walmart could be costing Yeezy hundreds of millions of dollars in sales by doing so.

Now picture this, if you will. Kanye West is ALLEGEDLY worth $1.8 billion. The Walton Family, who owns Walmart, is cumulatively worth $235 billion. Brotha, they not worried about you! In fact, initially when Kanye’s team sent them their legal docs the Walton’s ain’t say shit. And honestly, why would they because they’re way too rich to care. However, after they stopped laughing at his lawsuit and got their story straight they finally released a statement to TMZ.
“The product referenced in the complaint is not sold by Walmart, but rather by third party Marketplace sellers. We take allegations like this seriously and are reviewing the claim. We will respond in court as appropriate after we have been served with the complaint.”
The bottom line here is both of these shoes are ugly. And both Kanye and the Waltons don’t need any more of our money so this bickering between two rich bitches with too much time on their hands is annoying. But if Walmart really wants to do something to help the public PLEASE add more cashiers in all of your stores. Standing in line there must be what the waiting room in Hell is like.
