Kim Kardashian Broke Down Over The Collapse Of Her Marriage To Kanye West On The Latest “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”

On the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, things… are… happening (OK, ya got me, I’m not watching). And in the latest episode, Kim Kardashian broke down over the end of her marriage to Kanye West. The scene was filmed ahead of a family trip to Lake Tahoe (sans Yeezy), around Thanksgiving of last year. Kim ended up filing for divorce in February. In the clip, Kim cries to her sisters about how she can’t deal with Kanye moving “to a different state every year.” She says he deserves someone who will live with him on his Wyoming ranch and support his every move. Soooo someone without a brain. Whaddaya say, Irina Shayk?

Here’s exactly what happened on the not-at-all scripted episode: the Kardashian-Jenners travel to Lake Tahoe, where Kim immediately has a mild shit-fit about cookies being placed on the counter. She says she can’t have them in her sight cuz she just gained fifteen pounds. In a confessional, Khloe Kardashian explains “it’s not the cookies’ fault,” Kim’s just upset because she’s been struggling with Kanye. Khloe sits down with Kim and asks her how things with Kanye are going. Kim replies, “There’s no fighting. Like, now it’s all calm.” Then she goes dead-eyed and mutters, “I just roll with it.” You can practically see the horrifying memories of Kanye’s disastrous presidential campaign and public meltdown dancing in front of her eyes.

In a confessional Khloe says Kanye and Kim got in a big fight before the Lake Tahoe trip, and the editors cut to a dramatic sepia-toned flashback where Kim cries on a bed surrounded by her sisters. This scene is filled with emotions that really test everyone’s fillers:

KIM (crying): I just like honestly can’t do this anymore. I can’t! Why am I still in this place where I’m stuck for years? Like he goes and moves to a different state every year. I have to be together so I can raise the kids, you know? He’s an amazing dad, he’s done an amazing job.

ONE OF THE SISTERS (Off-Kamera): He still will be. He still will be. He’ll be better without you there, like…

KIM: I think he deserves someone who can go support his every move and go follow him all over the place and move to Wyoming.

(Kendall stands and stares blankly like a Sim whose Free Will has been turned off. Kylie takes out a tissue and dabs the silicon leaking from her eyes)

KIM (cont’d): I can’t do that. He should have a wife that supports his every move and travels with him and does everything and I can’t! I feel like a fucking failure that it’s like a third fucking marriage. Yeah, I feel like a fucking loser! But I can’t even think about that, I wanna be happy!

The show flashes back to the present on the trip to Lake Tahoe, and Kim tells Khloe she wouldn’t live with the fighting if it was constant.

In a confessional, Khloe says that Kim tries to protect her marriage at all costs, but it’s a lot of responsibility on her shoulders and she should be taking care of herself. And shit, if you’re getting relationship advice from Khloe, maybe it’s time to call up the divorce lawyer again. On the plus side, just two more splits and Kimbo gets a free sub!
