A TikToker Had To Call The Fire Department After She Got Stuck In A Chair While Filming Fetish Content
A 27-year-old Michigan woman got herself in some trouble the other day when she crammed her lil’ body into a folding chair and couldn’t get it back out. If you’re asking, “Why?”, the obvious answer is “for a TikTok!” Sydney Jo AKA @sydneysomethin is an online sex worker and says most of her TikTok posts are about sex work and giving sex work advice. Sydney Jo was trying to demonstrate the sexual fetish of getting stuck. And then she actually got stuck. Really stuck. So stuck that she had to call the fire department. It must have been scary, but congrats to Sydney Jo for unintentionally making the sexiest stuck content since 127 Hours.

Then she wisely called the Ann Arbor Fire Department. Chief Michael Kennedy confirmed that firefighters were sent to the TikToker’s house around 5:10 pm on June 8. He says requests to get people unstuck are “not unusual,” but usually it’s just getting a kid’s head out of a stair banister.
Sydney Jo filmed herself getting extricated from the chair. The firefighters seem very nice, and they begin by trying to release Sydney Jo using bolt cutters. Doesn’t work. Next, they opt for the terrifying “Jaws of Life,” a loud hydraulic cutter typically used to extricate people out of car crashes. This worked, and Sydney Jo was released from her chair prison completely unharmed. Here’s the video:

A lot of the comments on the video were like, “But why were you stuck in the chair?” So that’s when Sydney Jo explained about the stuck fetish thing (via MLive):
“My whole TikTok is basically sex work and giving sex work advice, specifically online sex work,” she said in the video, “and ‘stuck’ is a fetish category that I’m pretty popular in and done for about nine years now. I was just working, and yeah, it was my job. I was literally just working.”
