Open Post: Hosted By Alicia Silverstone Recreating The “As If” Moment From “Clueless” With Her Son
Alicia Silverstone is a 44-year-old hippy-dippy momma with some very interesting ideas about diet and health. But let’s be real, in her heart of hearts she’s still 15-year-old Cher Horowitz, queen of Beverly Hills high school and the matchy-matchy monochromatic ensemble. So this past weekend, as a special treat, Alicia briefly reprised her iconic Clueless role in a TikTok co-starring her 10-year-old son, Bear Blu. And it’s that scene. No, not the one where she kisses her step-lover Paul Rudd in front of a fountain (thankfully). The one where she shoves a grabby teenage boy off of her with the classic line, “Ugh! As IF!”
In the video, Alicia sports a plaid yellow blazer similar to the one in the film and lip-syncs to the film’s original dialogue (set to Gwen Stefani’s non-feminist anthem Just A Girl). Except TWIST! This version ends with a loving hug between mom and son. D’awwww. Here’s the TikTok, which has already racked up almost 7 million likes and 30 million views:

So far that’s the only TikTok post on Alicia’s page, but she’s already racked up 1.6 million followers on the app in just a couple of days. Let’s see if she can keep any of these new Gen-Z fans once she starts posting videos about momma-birding and pooping patterns.
