Alicia Silverstone Once Again Says That Her Son Is An “Example Of Health” Due To His Vegan Diet

A couple of years ago, Alicia Silverstone claimed that her son Bear Blu, who is now 9 years old, never gets sick and she gave credit to his vegan diet for that. Alicia also credited his plant-based diet for why he’s perfectly behaved and poops like an angel. But in case you forgot about all of that, Alicia is back to once again tell you that Bear’s got the immune system of a superhero thanks to being vegan.

While promoting her new movie, Sister Of The Groom, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Alicia ended up talking about how her plant-based son is the epitome of healthy and has never ever needed antibiotics. And that’s great, it’s also great for Bear Blu that he is older now and doesn’t need his mother to bird-feed him.

“He’s such an example of health. This is a child who is plant-based. To never have needed antibiotics in nine years and to never have needed any kind of medical intervention… Most kids have so many ear infections, they’re taking medicine all the time. I’m not saying I wouldn’t give it to him… I’m saying he doesn’t need it.”

But Bear has been sick a few times, but only “for, like, a few hours.”

“He said, “Mommy I don’t feel good. I’m going to lay down.” In his whole life, twice. He can get a snot nose, but he’s still climbing trees. He’s just so healthy. I just want to share that with the world. So people can see that a plant-based baby is really healthy… It’s not like they’re just doing OK. They can do better.”

“Plant-based baby” sounds like she’s raising Groot! And did Alicia really need to tell us all this during a deadly pandemic?! But maybe her son is different. Maybe he just radiates some kind of healing aura? It would explain why she still takes baths with him.

And here’s Alicia talking some more about her movie on Today:
