21-Year-Old James Charles Denies Grooming A 16-Year-Old Boy

About two years ago, 39-year-old (get ready to bust out an eye roll and groan) beauty YouTuber Tati Westbrook (and release that eye roll and groan!) claimed that (get ready to bust out another eye roll and groan) 21-year-old fellow beauty YouTuber James Charles (and release that eye roll and groan sequel!) is a sexual predator who preys on straight dudes. After Tati came out with those claims, others co-signed, including someone who said she went to high school with James and he catfished to get dick pics from the soccer team. James denied being a predator and said that some of the accusations were dripping in homophobia and pushed the predatory gay trope. And last year, Tati Westbrook apologized to James and said that fellow YouTubers (nope, the eye-rolling and groaning isn’t over), 35-year-old Jeffree Star and 32-year-old Shane Dawson, used her to take down James Charles. Well, James Charles has been hit with more accusations from a 16-year-old boy who claims that James is a junior Epstein-in-training. But James denies it, saying that the boy said he was 18.

Insider says that yesterday afternoon, the 16-year-old, who goes by Isaiyah on Twitter, posted now-deleted TikToks where he said that he was a big fan of James Charles, so he added James on Snapchat and sent James a message. According to Isaiyah, James started flirting from the get-go and sent the boy “explicit” photos of himself. This made Isaiyah all kinds of uncomfortable and he claims he let James know he’s only 16 and that James didn’t care and kept asking for naked pics and to FaceTime. See, this is why every social media platform needs to install a Chris Hansen add-on that pops up and shuts down gross conversations like that one:

Isaiyah tweeted censored versions of the explicit pics that James Charles allegedly sent him, but Twitter took them down and probably because it violates their policy on sharing nude pics without consent.

After Isaiyah’s accusations went viral, James Charles attempted to take a concealer stick to the claims. James didn’t offer up any “receipts,” but the Muppet Babies version of Kris Jenner did say that Isaiyah’s side of the story isn’t true. According to James, Isaiyah is the one who flirted with him first and sent him “lewd” pictures. When James asked Isaiyah how old he was, he allegedly told James he was 18, so James flirted back. But James claims that he began to realize that Isaiyah might not be 18 and asked for Isaiyah’s age again. Isaiyah admitted he was only 16. James then apologized for flirting and said he was uncomfortable by the situation, but Isaiyah said it could be their “little secret.” James let Isaiyah know that he wasn’t okay with that and when Isaiyah got upset, James cut all contact. James says that moving forward, he’ll make sure he’s not pulling a Tyga and will ask for ID from guys he talks to:

Isaiyah responded to James’ denial, saying that James never asked him how old he was and that after he told James he’s 16, James continued to ask for nudes and said, “I wish the timeline could speed up so you can be 18.” Isaiyah also mentioned that his TikTok profile states that he’s 16 and shared a conversation he claims he had with a friend over James wanting pics even after finding out he’s only 16:

First of all, isn’t James’ fanbase mostly made up of teenagers? So if a fan writes him, he should probably just say, “Thank you, sister,” and keep it moving. Second of all, James admitted to receiving “lewd” pictures from a 16-year-old and didn’t deny sending the boy “explicit” pictures of himself. I don’t know if the police will investigate this, but still, James should probably research how to make bronzer and highlighter out of Metamucil and toothpaste from the prison commissary.
