A Picture Of 71-Year-Old Lionel Richie And His 30-Something Girlfriend Has Raised Some Eyebrows On Twitter
I think we may now know why Lionel Richie didn’t have shit to say about his then 19-year-old daughter Sofia Richie’s decision to shack up with a man almost twice her age. Sofia has since moved on from her age gap relationship with Scott Disick, but Page Six reports that a photo of Sofia’s 71-year-old pops and his 30-something girlfriend, lifestyle blogger (that’s an Influencer who landed a big fish) Lisa Parigi, recently threw “Twitter into a tizzy” as fans reacted to their 40 something year age gap. If they think that’s wild, wait until they find out that Lionel and Lisa have been dating since at least 2014. You do the math! No, seriously, please help, I barely passed Algebra I.

Lionel Richie and girlfriend Lisa Parigi kicked off the week by throwing Twitter into a tizzy over their age gap.
On Monday, a photo of the couple popped back up on social media, with Richie, 71, cuddling up to lifestyle blogger Parigi, who is reportedly in her 30s.
Although Richie and Parigi have reportedly been dating since 2014, Twitter unsurprisingly had plenty to say about the pair’s apparent age difference.
Richie, who currently serves as a judge on “American Idol,” has three children. He adopted daughter Nicole, 39, with his first wife, Brenda Harvey, and he has daughter Sofia, 22, and son Miles, 26, with his second wife, Diane Alexander.

The truth is, Lionel and Lisa have been together for a very long time. In fact, they’ve been dating since college!

After way too much digging, I found that Lisa’s very first Instagram post from 2014 (under her current handle, it looks like she had a different one before) was an undated #TBT picture of her and Lionel at some event.

So really, we have no idea how long they’ve been together or how old Lisa is. Heavy reports that Lisa “grew up in Switzerland and has worked as a model. She now runs a lifestyle blog” and has “managed to keep her exact age under wraps. But Parigi is often described by various outlets as being in her 30s.” Well, let’s hope she keeps it that way so we don’t have to cancel Lionel for being a cradle robber when, as far as we know, he’s just a booster-seat robber. Besides, Lionel’s got a baby face himself (hopefully not from fetal stem cell injections like the ones you can get in Holland). And it’s not like Lisa and Lionel have been trying to hide their relationship (at least not prior to 2014). They spend their time traveling around the world on private jets and meeting luminaries such as Pope Francis and Prince Charles. And we know neither of those dudes are in a position to judge. So, good for her I guess. It could be worse, at first I thought they were siblings!
