Noah Cyrus Apologized For Using A Racist Insult While Defending Harry Styles

Noah Cyrus decided that she would do something most of us can get behind and defended Harry Styles from Candace Owens who thinks that real men don’t wear dresses. Candace should call the Pope, then. But the thing is, Miley Cyrus’ little sister went left in her delivery and chose to use a racial jab against Candace, forcing the internet to temporarily side with *gagging noises* Candace Owens.

Entertainment Weekly says that Noah Cyrus hopped onto Instagram and reposted a picture of Harry Styles in a dress from his Vogue cover shoot. Since that Vogue issue came out, the sight of Harry Styles in a dress caused some conservatives to clutch their pearls ~~and closeted penises~~. But Noah is no stuffy gender-policeman and decided to say on her Instagram story that Harry looked better than any of the haters. But she phrased it:

“He wears this dress better than any of u nappy ass heauxz.”

And just like that, the ghost of Don Imus is a Noah Cyrus fan!

Obviously, a white girl using the phrase “nappy” when referencing a Black person set off alarms. Throw in sister Miley’s past with Black appropriation and Twitter had it and called Noah out. Noah apologized in an Instagram Story, saying:

“I am mortified that I used a term without knowing the context and history, but I know now and I am horrified and truly sorry. I will never use it again. Thank you for educating me. I in no way meant to offend anyone. I am so so sorry.”

Noah Cyrus didn’t know that term is a no-no? The lie detector test determined her response is questionable. But maybe we should give her the benefit of the doubt. We don’t know how many Flamin Hot Cheetos she ate when dating Lil Xan. He was hospitalized he once ate so many, so who knows if Noah’s brain is permanently damaged.
