Open Post: Hosted By The “Midsommar” Dress, Which Can Be Yours!

IndieWire says that A24, the production company behind Midsommar, is doing an auction for a good cause. If you’ve ever wanted to look like the entire fake flowers section of a Michael’s jumped you, it’s your lucky day.
The auction will benefit the NYC Health + Hospitals, the FDNY Foundation, as well as Queens Community House and the Food Bank For NYC. A24 explained that they’re a New York-based company and wanted to do what they can to help in these crazy coronavirus times. They also announced that the May Queen dress from Midsommar is going up for auction along with stuff from Euphoria, Eighth Grade, Uncut Gems, and Hereditary. Sadly, they’re not auctioning off the little girl’s decaying head or the dead grandmother’s corpse from Hereditary. Here’s a video showing the items they are offering up:
The auction will go down on April 27, and unless the government accidentally added a couple more zeros to stimulus checks, most of us probably won’t be able to afford shit. But Ariana Grande can and she may pull out a few coins from her coin purse to buy the Midsommar dress.
Ariana and her new Internet bestie, Florence Pugh, who stars in Midsommar, went back and forth about the auction. Ariana revealed she was already planning on having the dress made for Halloween but may buy the real thing instead. Apparently, all her friends sent her the auction info, but Florence’s mention of armholes in the dress for drinking wine is what really got Ariana interested:
Ariana shouldn’t buy that dress if she wants to wear it. It’ll swallow her whole and she’ll never be seen again. All she has to do is buy the Barbie one, which is exactly her size!
