Michelle Williams And Thomas Kail Might Get Married Before Their Baby Is Born

Michelle Williams hit the red carpet of the Golden Globes last Sunday with her new fiancé and father to her second child, director Thomas Kail. Michelle wore a custom-made dress from Louis Vuitton. And I know celebrities don’t often wear the same thing twice, but Michelle might have a reason to pull out her custom-made designer maternity gown again, and that would be her possible upcoming wedding to Thomas.

We don’t know how many months along Michelle is at the moment; her exclusive baby reveal with People magazine didn’t contain that information. All we know is that the time was right for Michelle to have another kid, and that she’s doing it with Thomas. But usually pregnant people wait until they’re at least three months along before announcing to the world that they’re members of the Swole Ankles Club. That means that the latest Michelle could have her baby is July. According to a source who spoke with Us Weekly, Michelle will marry Thomas sometime between now and then:

“They’re very happy and thrilled to be bringing a baby into the world,” says the insider. “They would like to be married by the time that happens.”

Michelle will bring her 14-year-old daughter Matilda Ledger into her new family with Thomas, and Thomas will bring DRAMA! I’m just joking. They’re both bringing drama, remember? Michelle was married to her first husband Phil Elverum from July 2018 to April 2019. Thomas was married to actress Angela Christian from 2006 to…we’re not sure about that. But if Michelle and Thomas do get married before the baby comes, then that will surely help us figure all this out. Because they will both have to be divorced before getting married.

Us Weekly’s source wasn’t forthcoming with any more details. Like, will they swing by the courthouse one day, or will this be a big celebrity thing that will end up on the cover of People? Will the venue lay down a long plastic drop sheet just in case Michelle’s water breaks as she’s reciting her vows? And how many Instagram stories will Busy Philipps post where she’ll say, “So, you guys – I totally spilled red wine all over the crotch of my bridesmaid jumpsuit.”
