Miley Cyrus And Cody Simpson’s Relationship Status Might Be In Limbo
Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson have been a thing for about a month and a half, or just a few weeks after Miley gave Kaitlynn Carter her walking papers. But in recent weeks, Miley and Cody have been on the quiet side. Miley has literally been quiet, as a doctor has ordered her not to talk in order to recover properly from vocal cord surgery. But also metaphorically too. Radar Online recently pointed out that it’s been two weeks since Miley posted a photo of Cody on social media. Uh oh!
In the beginning, Miley was posting about Cody all the time, so it is a little weird that she suddenly stopped. Especially since she has all this free time at the moment. Well, a source tells Radar that Miley isn’t posting about Cody because they’re not together anymore.
“They are taking a break, but want to remain friends. She said she just needs to focus on herself.”
Miley needs some Miley Time. I don’t know what that involves, but I’m picturing a giant pile of pets, vegan nachos, hair oil, faux leather pants, and a big 4-foot tall bong she’s retrofitted with a pair of bendable arms that she can wrap around her back and spoon her to sleep. Whatever it involves, there is no Cody Simpson in the mix. Or is there?!? E! News paints a much different picture. A source says that Miley and Cody are totally together, and that they recently took a trip back to Miley’s home in Tennessee.
“Miley and Cody saw each other last week when he visited her in Tennessee. They are fine and are still dating. Miley has been resting from her vocal surgery but has been in touch and seen Cody recently.”
The source adds that it’s not that serious, so we can all calm down if we don’t see them grinding on each other on Instagram for a couple of weeks.
“Miley always made it clear to Cody that she likes to have freedom and he always understood the dynamic of the relationship. They have been friends for years and will always be, and are currently fine and on great terms.”
Yet another source says that Miley is busy, so she can’t be with Cody every second of every day, and that Cody always stays at Miley’s house when he’s in Los Angeles. That source adds that they’re “crazy” about each other, and that it’s clear they’re “very into each other.” A peek at Cody’s Instagram shows the same evidence as Miley’s, which is that there are no couples pictures since they grossed everyone out at Halloween nearly three weeks ago.
The only way we’ll know for sure if Miley and Cody are still together for real, is if they hit up Instagram with the proof. And since it’s Miley, there’s a 50-50 chance she’ll take that headline about their relationship being in limbo to a very literal place. Which is to say, we might be mere moments away from bearing witness to an Instagram video of Miley in a bikini, slithering under a shirtless Cody Simpson who is perched horizontally like a human limbo pole. So, you might want to prepare yourself for that.
