Chilli Of TLC Doesn’t Have Time For Twitter Users Who Think They Look Like Her

The old saying “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” is not something TLC member Rozanda “Chilli‘ Thomas believes in, because she’s quick to slap a trick down like Dikembe Mutumbo in those “Not in my house!” commercials. And Chilli proved that very recently when a follower on Twitter tried to tell the world that she often gets compared to Chilli in the looks department. Well, Chilli immediately took one look at her photo and within moments crushed her hopes and dreams with a resounding, “No the fuck you don’t!”

The entire incident was very innocent, or so one would think. And since 48-year-old Chilli is currently swabbing the deck for a check with Lil’ Kim and Mya on VH1’s Girl’s Cruise,  you’d think she’d appreciate anyone giving her a shout out. But no, Chilli pulled into the port of Shady Acres to let one of her young fans know that the two of them look nothing alike. The Grio reports that on Wednesday, a Twitter user posted a touching tribute when she uploaded a collage of herself and Chilli, letting everyone know that people often say they look alike.

Even though I see a resemblance, Chilli didn’t:

Chilli’s response was pretty tame, but Twitter roasted her for being an old bitter broad:

Although most users tried to shame Chilli for her comments, some people defended her. Chilli even piggybacked off of one user’s comment to make it be known that she said what she said and she wasn’t taking it back.

I guess that relaxing VH1 cruise didn’t do much for Chilli’s chill factor. Uh, NEWSFLASH, Chilli, the girl looks like you. She may not be your twin, but cut a young buck some slack. But then again if someone mentions you on Twitter, you better ride that wave to relevance for as long as you can. And we already know Chilli ain’t too proud to beg, so her reaction really shouldn’t shock anyone.
