Elijah Wood may be engaged to his girlfriend Mette-Marie Kongsved and becoming a father. And to think this whole time I was thinking he was going to end up with Hermione. And yes, I know he’s Lord of The Rings and not Harry Potter but Eljiah and Daniel Radcliffe are basically interchangeable and who hasn’t thought of Hermione and Frodo making some sweet, sweet, magical love?
People is reporting that Elijah’s girlfriend Mette-Marie Kongsved was sporting a ring on THAT finger and also had a belly full of baby
The actor, 38, was photographed alongside his partner Mette-Marie Kongsved in Los Angeles on Monday shopping for furniture before visiting a Best Buy store.
Wood kept things casual in jeans, brown shoes and a button-down over a patterned white shirt.
Meanwhile Kongsved — a Danish movie producer — sported a noticeable baby bump under a burnt-orange-colored midi dress, as well as a ring on her left hand.

Lots of assumptions! I mean, maybe she just stuck a pillow in her dress and likes to wear rings on her left hand? We don’t know their truth. And Elijah has always remained quiet about his private life, so I doubt he will be making any comments soon.
Usually private when it comes to his personal life, Wood — a former child actor who, aside from his role in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, is known for films like North, The Ice Storm and Flipper — has remained tight-lipped about his relationship with Kongsved.
Wrong. He’s known for his role in the iconic masterpiece The Good Son. Also, I appreciate the double name of his possible fiancé Metté-Marie. If only she had crossed paths with Justin-Bobby from The Hills instead of Eljiah Wood, then she wouldn’t be stuck going to fashion shows and Best Buy with someone who looks eerily similar to Jon Benet Ramsey’s older brother Burke Ramsey.
But the two made a rare event appearance together in February, stepping out for a Rodarte FW19 fashion show in San Marino, California.
Their relationship goes back to at least January 2018, when Wood and Kongsved were spotted holding hands in Pasadena, California.
Congrats to them! Elijah has always seemed like a nerdy, sweet, sort of good egg and ever since I saw him cry on Punk’d, I’ve had a crush. I guess I’m just into short, crying, Hobbit-looking humans who fight against an evil Macaulay Culkin.
