Open Post: Hosted By Miley Cyrus’ Video For “Mother’s Daughter”

Miley Cyrus is fighting to show you how socially aware she is. Her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus is out here helping gay black guys get to #1 on the charts, while she’s still apologizing for picking up and dropping black culture at her own leisure. Well Miley isn’t about to lose this fight. She didn’t make that extremely woke video for Nothing Breaks Like A Heart just to be cast-aside by the Social Justice Warrior crowd. Nope!

She’s back and this time she’s raising awareness about women. Mothers: some of them have daughters, amirite?

Miley released the video for her new single Mother’s Daughter and it is exactly what you should have expected. Basically every piece of feminine-ish imagery which would piss off/confuse/disturb Pat Robertson and his ilk, she used. There are C-section scars/piercings. There’s a woman with tattoos breastfeeding. There’s a red-leather PVC bodysuit with teeth decals over the vagina. There’s lots of Miley’s tongue out. There’s a lot of cameos like from model Aaron Philip, who is black and uses a wheelchair.

This will probably upset the conservative crowd who hated that whole Miley Cyrus-twerking thing, but they’re mad about everything. This music video does not educate me further on feminism nor womanhood nor did I expect to learn about either. But it does successfully raise my awareness about Tish Cyrus looking glamorous and snatched. Tish got that JLo special, I see–looking very natural-adjacent. I like it.

But with that being said, Miley should expect a cease and desist from Madonna for calling herself The Legend M.

Here’s the video for Mother’s Daughter:
