Lil Nas X Thought He Made It “Deadass Obvious” That He’s Gay
Pride month ended with a BANG yesterday, and not just because I busted my ass on the floor while drunkenly dancing to a Robyn remix by myself in my living room. 20-year-old rapper Lil Nas X came out as a member of the LGBTQ community (or came out as a Rainbow Brite stan, which is pretty much the same thing) when he tweeted an up-close shot of a rainbow on his album cover and said almost the same thing I said to my cousin when she shockingly shouted, “You gay?!“, at me. And she displayed this act of shockingness while we were on our way to a fucking gay club and I was wearing (true story) a Spandex sleeveless crop top shirt, faux alligator pleather pants, and a star-shaped crystal stick-on tattoo. Lil Nas X thought he made it deadass obvious that he’s as gay as that outfit.
Lil Nas X supposedly ran a Nicki Minaj stan account on Twitter (although, he denies it, and who wouldn’t deny being a Barb?) and he regularly dresses like he’s in a Vengaboys tribute band, but just in case that didn’t clue you in on his tip getting moist for man ass and peen, he tweeted at his followers to open their hearing holes to his song c7osure before Pride month ends:
some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure. 🌈🤩✨ pic.twitter.com/O9krBLllqQ

The lyrics go like this:
True say
I want and I need
To let go
Use my time to be free
It’s like it’s always what you like
It’s always what you like
Why it’s always what you like?
It’s always what you like, huhAin’t no more actin’, man that forecast say I should just let me grow
No more red light for me, baby, only green, I gotta go
Pack my past up in the back, oh, let my future take a hold
This is what I gotta do, can’t be regretting when I’m oldBrand new places I’ll choose and I’ll go, I know
Embracing this news I behold unfolding
I know, I know, I know it don’t feel like it’s time
But I look back at this moment, I’ll see that I’m fine
I know, I know, I know it don’t feel like it’s time
I set boundaries for myself, it’s time to cross the line

And Nas also laughed at some responses to his coming out:

“Okay, but when is he officially coming out as Islamophobic?” asked those who think that Nicki Minaj stan account was really his.
TMZ says that Nas has been wanting to come out, but made the decision yesterday after he was covered with love by the 180,000 people who watched him perform his huge hit Old Town Road with Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus at Glastonbury:

Sources say that since success has come to Nas so fast and so big, he was hesitant about coming out, because although he wants to help the queer youngins who are struggling to come out, he’s not ready to become the a poster gay for LGBTQ-rights.
Well, congrats to Nas, and congrats to all of us, because he’s just pushed Pride month into July. A song by a black gay rapper has been #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 all through Pride month, and after the homophobes who bought that song find out that he’s gay, they’re going to scream their hateful tonsils off while on the phone with Spotify or Apple customer service to get their money back. Well played, Lil Nas!
