A strange thing happened during Oscar Sundays: The Oscars actually went on, because you’d think the show would’ve been canceled and everyone would’ve went home to cry over their unworthiness as soon as noted awards stealer Billy Porter shut it all down with this Hector Xtravaganza elegance by Christian Siriano. If you’re both the bride and the groom, wear this perfection. If you’re starring as Anna in a production of the King & I at 8pm and going to a James Bond-theme party at 11pm, wear this heavy dollop of glamour.
Billy Porter wasn’t nominated and he wasn’t even in a nominated film, but he still showed up like he was the Queen of the Night, and he was! Billy was one of the hosts of ABC’s pre-Oscars show, along with Ryan Semencrust, who terrorized both E! and ABC. When you wanted to escape Ryan by switching from E! to ABC, you were hit with his evil gnome-ness. But Billy made switching to ABC worth it by serving up sass and glamour, although he took off his ball gown while hosting, which is saintly of him, because he knew it would show bitches up.
I’ve also been told that EMTs had to give mouth-to-mouth left and right, because when Billy Porter did this, breaths were lost and tricks passed out.

That gown skirt is big enough to house absolutely everybody who was at the Oscars tonight, and they should’ve hid under there because whatever they wore couldn’t match the hotness of Billy Porter. All hail the TRUE winner of the Oscars!
