Chris Pratt And Anna Faris Have Settled Their Divorce

While it feels like some celebrities will still be fighting out their divorce battle well into the next decade, others seem to want to get it done fast and quick so they can move on in whatever way they so choose. Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are one such couple. TMZ is reporting that one year and three months after calling it quits, their divorce is in the can and they’ve wrapped up all the details.

Chris and Anna’s divorce was settled yesterday. A judge signed off on their request for joint custody of their 6-year-old son Jack. It was unlikely that either would request spousal support, since they both signed a prenup when they got married back in 2009. As for a property settlement, they recently put their L.A. house on the market for $5 million. But there is one very important stipulation in their settlement regarding property.

Chris and Anna have decided that until their son Jack enters the 6th grade, they have to live within 5 miles of each other. There is one exception; if either parent has to move for some reason, they have to give three months notice to prepare the other parent. They also have to give 30 days notice for any out-of-country travel with Jack, and “reasonable” notice if they want to take him out of state.

The only thing that could get awkward is living so close. Five miles is far enough away that you’re not waving at them from the driveway in your robe and slippers as you pick up the morning paper. But it’s close enough that you’re bound to share a grocery store. And you know at least one of those run-ins will involve one parent judging the food in the other’s cart. “Oh, the big box of Pop-Tarts, huh? Thank goodness he only has to travel less than five miles to get vegetables from my house.
