Open Post: Hosted By Cher Dragging Madonna On “Ellen”

In a recent appearance on Ellen, Cher reignited a long-standing… something that’s not exactly a feud per se (a feud implies two evenly matched foes)- let’s call it a “difference in approach” between herself and Madonna. Cher, resplendent in elegantly styled Scandinavian ABBA locks, played a game called “The 5-Second Rule” where she quickly had to answer the question “name 5 celebrities you’d want to do a duet with”. Congratulations to Adele and Pink, you made the list! Take a victory lap, make it happen. I would eat those duets up with a rhinestone fork. However, condolences are in order for Madge.

Cher’s third and final choice was “not Madonna!”.  Oh Lord Jesus It’s a fire. I hope the folks at Ellen had several scantily clad firemen on hand (as per Cher’s rider) to extinguish that burn.

Here’s the clip.

You see, there is only room for one, single-named mystical auto-tuned Goddess, and Madonna ain’t it. Did you know that Cher once called Madonna a cunt in an interview? According to E! News, Cher didn’t like her stank attitude. In an interview from the 90’s, Cher said Madonna was mean. And a spoiled brat. As we know, Cher does not play! Cher recalled:

“I remember having her over to my house a couple of times, because [Sean Penn] and I were friends, and she just was so rude to everybody. It seems to me that she’s got so much that she doesn’t have to act that way,” Cher continued. “She acts like a spoiled brat all the time. And it seems to me when you reach the kind of acclaim that she’s reached—and you can do whatever you want to do—you should be a little bit more magnanimous, and little bit less of a c–t.”

Cher has been out here doing the Lord’s work for decades. #blessed
