Now For The Time Heidi Klum Ghosted Drake

Heidi Klum is still dating Tom Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel, but in a turn of events that can best be described as Sliding Doorsian, she recently revealed that if the timing was different, she might be dating another younger man from the music industry. Drake texted Heidi Klum once and he may have wondered if he sent it to the right number. Oh, Heidi got that text; she just ignored it.

Six months ago during an appearance on Ellen, Heidi and Ellen DeGeneres played a game of Who’d You Rather. Heidi said she was “very single and very ready to mingle,” so Ellen presented her with a bunch of eligible bachelors, and she repeatedly picked Drake. However, Drake couldn’t compete with Joaquin Phoenix, of all people, and Heidi’s final choice went to Joaquin.

Heidi appeared on Ellen again yesterday and explained that after she got thirsty for Drake on the show, he got her number from a mutual friend and texted her. It didn’t turn into Drake’s personal version of God’s Plan in which a hot German supermodel texted him back and asked how soon he could pick her up and take her to a Raptors game. Heidi says that Drake’s text came just a week too late, as she was already seeing Tom Kaulitz.

“Sorry, Drake. You snooze, you lose. You know what I mean? He was basically like a week too late…I was like, oh my gosh, this is so weird. But then I never texted him back because I found the love of my life.”

Heidi let Drake down easy after confessing to ghosting him via unanswered text, saying: “I’m embarrassed about it. Drake, I’m sorry I didn’t text you back. You’re cool, I still love your music.” Drake can be a giant ball of emotions, so I hope he doesn’t take this too hard. But then again, it’s Drake. Forget the fact that Drake is also rumored to be not-single at the moment, he’s got to be salty about this. “Thanks a lot Heidi. Even the girl I sing about in Hotline Bling who only kept in contact for booty calls had the decency to call me back.”
