Pusha-T Says Drake Has A Secret Son

The last time we dealt with Kanye-related drama, his wife Kim Kardashian was fighting with his Chicago youth charity. This time the Kanye-adjacent drama involves the recipient of Kanye’s $85,000 gift of tasteless album cover art, Pusha-T, and Drake. And it’s boiled over to the point of Pusha-T throwing out a deadbeat dad accusation.

This began on Pusha-T’s upcoming album, Daytona (produced by Kanye), with a Drake-themed diss track called “Infrared” in which he implies Drake uses ghostwriters (not the first time that accusation has been made). Drake shot back by tweeting an unpaid invoice that accused Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music of owing him $100,000. Drake also released his own diss track against Pusha-T called “Duppy Freestyle.” Pusha-T released another diss track called “The Story of Adidon.” The artwork for which is a picture of Drake in blackface.

According to Vulture, the pictures were taken by photographer David Leyes, possibly back in 2008, and possibly for a clothing campaign. The song also borrows the beat from Jay-Z’s “The Story OJ,” a video which also borrows blackface imagery.

In the song, Pusha-T accuses Drake of hiding a secret son with a former French porn star named Sophie Brussaux. Last year, Sophie claimed she was three-and-a-half months pregnant with Drake’s child, and that he denied paternity. Sophie’s since had the baby. She’s set her social media to private. Pusha-T claims in “The Story of Adidon” that not only has Drake has tried to cover up his secret baby, but that he’s a bad father.

Since you name-dropped my fiancée
Let ‘em know who you chose as your Beyoncé
Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother
Cleaned her up for IG, but the stench is on her
A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap
We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts
You are hiding a child, let that boy come home
Deadbeat muthafucka playin’ border patrol, ooh
Adonis is your son
And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real
Love that baby, respect that girl
Forget she’s a pornstar, let her be your world

According to the internet, Adidon might be the name of Drake’s upcoming line with Adidas. So along with ruining the rest of his week, Pusha-T might have ruined that for Drake too.

Sophie currently lives with her son in France. Last year when she claimed to be pregnant with Drake’s child, his rep implied she was making it all up in an attempt to get into the United States. That could be the inspiration for that “playing border patrol” line. But personally, I want to believe it’s a deep reference to what is arguably Canada’s best and corniest reality show, Border Security. Here are some pics of Drake and Sophie together on a date last year in Amsterdam, as well as Sophie at her baby shower.

Pusha-T wasn’t done. He also came for Drake’s own father Dennis Graham, accusing him of teaching Drake how to abandon a son:

Dennis Graham stay off the gram, bitch I’m on one
You mention wedding ring like it’s a bad thing
Your father walked away at five, hell of a dad thing

Pusha-T also took a crack at Drake’s friend Noah “40” Shebib, who has Multiple Sclerosis.

Drake hasn’t responded to Pusha-T’s allegations. And until his alleged baby mama Sophie emails TMZ with a picture of the paternity test, who is to say what the truth is here? Does Drake have a son in France that he never sees? Is Pusha-T taking a page out of the Kanye West Book of Blatant Album Promotion by making up an outrageous attention-grabbing story? But what if what Pusha-T is saying is true? Then I’m sure I’m not the only one who pictured Drake in generous soul mode pulling up to Sophie’s house with a box of baby Adidas samples while “God’s Plan” plays in the background.
