Trump Might Be Trying To Kill Stormy Daniels’ “60 Minutes” Interview

March 12, 2018 / Posted by:

No matter how hard Donald Trump stares at the television and yells “Shut up shut up shut up!!!,Stormy Daniels doesn’t seem to be shutting up about their alleged 2006 affair. One, because that’s not how televisions work, Donald (I know, it’s confusing, but they don’t actually live inside the screen). And two, because a hush agreement can be rendered null and void if your dumb ass forgets to sign it. Stormy is ready to spill the details of their alleged affair on television – for real, this time – to Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes. The interview is scheduled to air this Sunday, but according to BuzzFeed, Trump is trying really hard to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Stormy is currently suing Trump to get out of the NDA she signed stating she wouldn’t talk about their alleged affair (he didn’t sign it, which her hot attorney Michael Avenatti claims makes it unenforceable). Stormy and Michael spoke with Anderson Cooper last week for 60 Minutes, which Michael hasn’t exactly been treating as a secret.

Sources close to the situation have told BuzzFeed that Trump and his personal attorney Michael Cohen are preparing to file a legal injunction to prevent the interview from airing. BuzzFeed’s source has no idea what argument Michael Cohen and his legal team will use to try to get the interview tossed out. As you most likely remember, Michael Cohen allegedly paid Stormy Daniels $130,000 and got her to sign an NDA one month before the US Presidential election back in 2016. Last month Michael Cohen filed a secret restraining order against Stormy.

BuzzFeed tried to get a comment from Michael Cohen’s lawyer, Larry Rosen, but he would only say he represents Michael Cohen in connection with the restraining order obtained against Stormy Daniels.

Trump’s lawyers might have a harder job than they set out to do. BuzzFeed points out that CBS News is protected by press freedoms, thanks to previous situations like Nixon’s attempt at blocking the New York Times and The Washington Post from publishing the Pentagon Papers. As for whether or not she thinks her interview will get cut, Stormy tells The Washington Post: “We will see what happens.

Why is Trump wasting his time trying to get that interview killed? There will literally be zero-point-zero shocking reveals in Stormy’s interview. He cheated on Melania? Quelle surprise. He said some gross stuff about Ivanka? Color me shook. The only thing that could actually have people gasping is if Stormy tells Anderson that Simple Donny actually got her name right, and didn’t accidentally keep calling her Chance of Flurries.
