Jimmy Kimmel Is Feuding With Roy Moore On Twitter

Since Armie Hammer is taking a break from dragging alleged predators on Twitter, someone had to step in and pick up the slack. That person appears to be Jimmy Kimmel. And Jimmy came ready to roast a creep, extra crispy.

Entertainment Weekly says that this all started after comedian Tony Barbieri, a former writer and sometime performer on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, crashed a Roy Moore rally in Alabama on Wednesday night. Roy Moore, as you most likely know, is the Alabama Senate candidate who was accused by four women of pursuing them while they were underage girls. Tony appeared as his character Jake Byrd, a man who claimed to be Roy Moore’s “biggest fan.

Someone informed Roy Moore that his so-called “biggest fan” was actually a friend of Jimmy’s doing a bit for the show. Because the following day, Roy tweeted a tough guy threat at Jimmy and set himself up for what happened next.

Jimmy’s response pissed off Roy Moore more than an age of consent law, and he hissed back.

Last night, Jimmy took their fight off Twitter and put it on his TV show. Jimmy announced that he was accepting Roy Moore’s challenge to come down to Alabama and talk about Christian values. Jimmy then joked that if Roy Moore wants to fight fight, he’s up for that too. He’ll even wear a Girl Scout uniform so that Roy has something to get excited about. But Jimmy is a busy guy, so there is a chance he might not be able to make it down to Alabama. If he needs an excuse for why he isn’t able to make it, Jimmy could always tell Roy he has to babysit that night. I’m sure Roy has heard that one before.
