Meg Ryan And John Mellencamp Are Back Together

Maybe this time around she can sit John Mellencamp down and gently explain to him that saggy dad track bottoms are not an outdoor pant. Save them for your American Pickers marathons, John!

Meg Ryan and John dated for three years and split in 2014. Then he dated Christie Brinkley for a minute, and then a few months ago he was spotted hanging out with Meg Ryan again. Late in May, they were seen in Martha’s Vineyard together.

Absence must actually make the heart grow fonder, or crotches grow more bored, because sources are telling People and Page Six that Meg Ryan is once again the Diane to John Mellencamp’s Jack.

Page Six’s source says that Meg and John “are together“, and that they rekindled (recougared?) their relationship a few months ago. The source adds Meg was spotted “dancing on the side of the stage” at a concert he had in Queen, NY earlier this month. People’s source confirms they’re a thing again, and says they “have a bond.” I know what they mean, but it’s more fun to pretend they’re talking about a savings bond. “Listen, you know how it is – they’ve got that $1000 savings bond with Chase, and they figured they might as well stick it out together till it matures.

I just hope when they did get back together, John presented her with a peace offering. You know, since at one point in time she allegedly hated his ass. Maybe a new strap for her always present shoulder bag. It would be like a symbol of their love. Maybe get it embroidered with something nice. As strong as the nylon fibers in this strap, I once again weave my love with yours.
