Miles Teller Denies He Was Arrested For Public Drunkenness

Yesterday we learned that Miles Teller had been arrested in San Diego early Sunday morning for being a drunk mess on the street. Or was he??? Arrested, that is. I have no doubt he was probably very drunk.

Miles hopped on Twitter to wipe the recent stink off his good name. Miles claims he was only detained by police, and that no arrest was made because he had committed no crime. According to Miles, the only crime committed was the truth-stretching by the media. He appears to be guilty of having an extremely smug attitude, but last time I checked that’s not illegal.

PB Shore Club was where Miles was partying Saturday night/Sunday morning. TMZ says that Miles is blaming them for not cutting him off from booze. However, TMZ isn’t buying Miles’ excuse about a certain website (them) lying about his arrest. Shortly after Miles tweeted his innocence, TMZ updated their story with a note from the San Diego Police Department that said he was arrested for misdemeanor public intoxication. The SDPD also claims they took a mug shot. They should release it. That way we’ll know for sure if Miles was actually arrested. And maybe also some of us want to see that mug shot, but that’s totally not the reason it should be released.

Maybe this explains why Jonah Hill got the Golden Globe nomination for War Dogs, and not Miles. I’m starting to think Miles wasn’t technically doing any acting when he was acting like a rich ego-pumped douchebag.
