Miles Teller Was Arrested For Being A Drunk Mess In Public

TMZ says that Miles Teller was arrested in San Diego early Sunday morning for public intoxication, the least dangerous of drunk arrests, but still one of the more obnoxious ones. Miles, who was partying with some friends, was approached by police after he was seen having trouble standing upright on a sidewalk. Police sources tell TMZ that when they started questioning Miles, he got angry and refused to cooperate. Miles allegedly lost his balance and fell into a traffic lane, and that’s when the police decided he was too drunk to be outside and cuffed him. Miles did not go quietly into the night.

San Diego has a detox program in which drunks are given the option to avoid an arrest by sleeping it off in volunteer-run facility for a couple hours. Miles didn’t want that. They reportedly took him anyway. Miles refused to follow directions at the detox center, so cops were forced to take him to the police station, where he was arrested for public drunkenness and placed in a jail cell. Miles spent 4 hours in jail and was released without bail.

Miles Teller hasn’t said anything about this, and neither has a rep for him. That could be because he’s still sleeping it off.

Everything I know about Miles Teller I learned from his 2015 interview with Esquire in which he totally comes across as the type of dude who would get arrested for being a difficult drunk douchebag. This story would have been made infinitely better with the addition of a mug shot. I guess for now we’ll just have to imagine this version of Miles in a Coors t-shirt posing in front of a booking wall.

If Kristen Jensen’s friends are listening, do her a favor and let her know kissing the shoulder of the bro from the angry drummer movie should be nobody’s peak.
