Like Many, This Made Paris Jackson Want To Barf

On Tuesday night, UK’s Sky Arts wet farted up the trailer for Urban Myths and I’m sure that night, many had trouble sleeping, because every time they closed their eyes, they saw the terrifying image of Joseph Fiennes looking like a melting Matt Lauer Claymation figure in lazy Jack White cosplay. Michael Jackson’s 18-year-old daughter, Paris Jackson, pretty much feels the same way and spit out her feelings on Twitter.

When someone on Twitter asked for Paris’ thoughts on Joseph Fiennes playing her dad, she said this:

I’m so incredibly offended by it, as I’m sure plenty of people are as well, and it honestly makes me want to vomit. It angers me to see how obviously intentional it was for them to be this insulting, not just towards my father, but my godmother Liz as well. Where is the respect? They worked through blood sweat and tears for ages to create such profound and remarkable legacies. Shameful portrayal.

Paris Jackson may feel a slight sting to the cheek today and will wonder what that was. Oh, it was just the ghost of Elizabeth Taylor slapping that child down for having the audacity to call her LIZ!

There’s also a petition to boycott the movie. It’s got 21,000 signatures so far.

Urban Myths is satire, so it’s supposed to be full of fuckery and my guess is that they meant to make Joseph Fiennes look like a Cremaster version of the Invisible Man. I think. But well, if they wanted to avoid controversy, or whatever, they should’ve gotten Detective La Toya to do it. She’s got the nose and the charisma. But then again, judging by that trailer, their budget was probably two pence and a jar of off-brand Play-Doh, so there’s no way they could afford the standard seven-figure fee that a star like La Toya commands!

Here’s Paris Jackson working that Who’s That Girl? meets Kate Gosselin ‘do at some Golden Globes after-party on Sunday night with Sofia Richie.
