Gretchen Carlson Doesn’t Like Nicole Kidman’s Portrayal Of Her In The Roger Ailes Movie
Color me shocked! Gretchen Carlson had to be the unfortunate #metoo canary down the Fox News coal mine after she came out swinging – and winning $20 million – in her case against Roger Ailes for being a predator who made women’s lives at the company a living hell. Gretchen is now head of the Miss America pageant and cleaning it up, and I figured she’d just ride off into the sunset to count her cash and burn the now-eliminated bikinis from her pageants. Not so fast. Miss America is in a case of martial pageant law, and they’re making a movie about #metoo at Fox News – and Gretch doesn’t like how the movie at all.
Gretchen took to Twitter to say she doesn’t like the script and how Nicole looks while playing her:
This looks nothing like me & the script I’ve seen makes other people out to be heroes unjustifiably. Hard to see your own story faked. Unfortunately – Proves trumps claim of #FakeNews #Realstory https://t.co/QR9Fm3d6X7

No I thought they’d get the story half right at very least

First off, this isn’t news, it’s a movie. Second, oh PLZ! If anyone was born to play an annoying white lady anchor, it’s Nicole. Seems like a dead ringer to me!
Gretchen’s hate aside, this movie’s casting must have Ryan Murphy rocking in a corner wondering why he didn’t think of it first. Charlize Theron plays Megyn Kelly (and is a dead ringer), Connie Britton is portraying Roger’s wife Beth Ailes, Kate McKinnon and Margot Robbie. Allison Janney is in there, too, as if us gays didn’t need enough of a camp reason to go see this when it comes out next year. Gretchen is already proving she’s the Holy Terror of the sash-and-tiara circuit with her “alleged” bullying antics in the name of building female self-esteem, so I expect the red carpet for this movie’s premiere to go about as well as, uh, any of her mornings at the helm of Fox & Friends.
