Gucci Mane And Keyshia Ka’oir Got Married Live On BET Last Night
People reports that rapper Gucci Mane jumped the broom with model/entrepreneur Keyshia Ka’oir in an understated ceremony last night. The couple paid homage to their humble upbringings by keeping things low key with an intimate ceremony held at the Four Seasons in Miami, spending a mere $1.7 million dollars and broadcasting it live on BET as part of their 10-episode series.
The bride, dressed in a simple white shift, was radiant and simply glowing with natural beauty. The groom’s clean and classic white tuxedo was accented with the simplest bejeweled bow-tie, a nod to his bride’s modest bouquet of wild crystals, plucked from the surrounding Swarovski fields.

Guests included Sean “Diddy” Combs, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Karrueche Tran, Lil Yachty, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Big Sean and Jhene Aiko. The couple chronicles the road to their extravagant wedding in Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir: The Mane Event, — a 10-part special premiering on BET at 10 p.m. — in which fans will get an up-close look at all that went into crafting the nuptials.
Here’s the ceremony, which was paid for by BET, of course. I am particularly impressed with that lighted, raised aisle that looks like one of those clear plastic kit and caboodle containers filled with crystals from the bead store.

As my dear departed auntie Vera always said, “ain’t no money quite like new money”. Because it was broadcast on BET and a bajillion reality TV stars and other famous and/or fame hungry types were on the guest list, the social media coverage on this quiet affair was exhaustive. It appears the dress code was “dress like you never heard of ketchup or Kool-Aid” because everybody wore white. I hope the women in the wedding party didn’t have synced periods or it would have been a much more dramatic version of The Red Wedding.

I shudder to think of the “after” shots of all these people because you know that reception was LIT. After looking at this wedding, I have to admit I might have to check out the show. I used to watch Say Yes To The Dress but Say Yes To The Everything is a new one on me!
