A Letter Has Been Found Accusing Jim Carrey Of Giving His Late Girlfriend Several STDs

Earlier this week, Cathriona White’s estranged husband (and possible current Scientologist) Mark Burton came forward to file a wrongful death lawsuit against Jim Carrey. In it, he alleged that Jim supplied three of the four prescription medications Cathriona used to commit suicide almost a year ago. Mark also accused Jim of monitoring Cathriona’s every move with remote surveillance cameras. Jim denied Mark’s accusations of evildoing, and claimed he was only suing to get some money. Mark is back again with more accusations against Jim. The New York Daily News says that Mark filed a revision to the lawsuit he filed earlier in the week stating that on top of giving her three bottles of pills, Jim also gave her three different STDs.

Mark’s information comes from a handwritten letter allegedly written by Cathriona that was recently found. According to the letter, which the NYDN got a copy of, Jim gave Cathriona herpes simplex 1 (the mouth one), herpes simplex 2 (the downstairs one), and gonorrhea. The letter also alleges that Jim lied about giving Cathriona three STDs, and dumped her after he found out. It gets worse. The letter alleges that Jim reacted to Cathriona’s diagnosis by getting real mean, like calling her “a whore“, an “ungrateful bitch“, and “an opportunist“, and lying that the STDs came from him.

The letter also states that Cathriona questioned how she was going to date again after being given the gift you can’t return, and described her post-STD self as “damaged.”

Mark is totally going to get nominated for an Excellence in Character Assassination Award at this year’s L. Ronnies. Because the NYDN also obtained screen grabs of text messages allegedly sent between Jim and Cathriona in January of 2013. The texts are a little confusing, because there’s a lot of missing context. But here’s what is known. It happened after Cathriona informed she had “bumps” down there. Jim then asked Cathriona to “hurry up” and sign some sort of an “agreement.” When Cathriona let Jim know she didn’t feel “comfortable” signing it, Jim allegedly responded that he was “done” and that she had become “too much drama.”

Jim Carrey’s lawyer Marty Singer has responded to Mark’s latest claims and calls them “despicable bogus.” He also questions why Cathriona would continue to repeatedly see Jim Carrey long after the alleged texts were sent.

Finding out someone gave you one STD is bad enough, but three? And what the hell was Jim Carrey allegedly trying to get her to sign? I’ll just believe he was trying to get her to sign a contract promising that if anyone ever mentioned how crappy Dumb and Dumber To was, she’d say “Oh, I didn’t think it was that bad.”
