Earlier this week, a Polish celebrity type named Patricia “Patty” Dłutkiewicz performed her song “Krzyk” on Poland’s national morning show Good Morning TVN and all eyeballs quickly went from her to a demure, pantless flower whose eyes were as dead as her guitar-playing skills. The performance went viral and it was called it “the most embarrassing performance in the history of Polish television, ” because if Angelika and the keyboard player were playing root vegetables instead of musical instruments, they would’ve made the same sound: nothing. Patty’s manager said afterward that it was their plan all along and who wants to use their eyes to look at a homely thing showing some talent by actually playing a guitar for real when you can use your eyes to look at a model pretending to play guitar instead.
“We expected that the performance will become viral and be controversial, that was the plan from the beginning. It is better to look at beautiful models pretending to play the guitar than ugly musicians who actually play the guitar.”
I don’t believe the jealous haters and I really don’t believe Patty’s manager. Angelika is obviously playing that guitar. She’s just playing it in a way nobody has ever seen before. She’s a vanguard!
