Apple’s New $3500 VR Device Is Being Ridiculed Online
Forget about being a Democrat or Republican. In these technologically advanced times, only one thing truly matters: Apple or Android? And Apple’s obsessed customers love to remind Android users how much their phones suck and will NEVER live up to Apple’s pristine standards. Well, the time has come for all Android users to unite, point their fingers at the Apple zombies, and laugh at their misfortune since the next device on deck, Apple Vision Pro, costs more than many people make in a month. And although there was a time when Apple users would sell their furniture and both kidneys to play with a new Apple product, these are no longer those times. And their customers are not prepared to drop $3,500 on a device nobody even asked for in the first place.
According to Uproxx, Apple must think it’s a flex to spend money on something you really don’t need and still be able to afford rent. But they are absolutely wrong because even at the low, low price of $3,500, nobody has the time to incorporate this into their monthly budget. It’s a shame, too, because the amenities that come with Apple’s latest product seem pretty nice if you’re into that sort of thing.
Apple officially unveiled its new virtual reality headset at the Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday, and the overwhelming reaction right out of the gate is, “Wait, that thing costs how much?!” Dubbed the Apple Vision Pro, the VR headset arrives with a whopping $3,500 price tag and looks a whole lot like scuba diving goggles.
“It’s the first Apple product you look through, and not at,” Tim Cook said while introducing the, again, $3500 headset that’s controlled by your hands, voice, and eyes.
Another thing to keep us separated and distracted? Congrats to our devolving society, WOO HOO! And here’s a quick glimpse as to why you’ll never be able to walk around people in crowds anymore for the next five to ten years (if not longer).

Yeah, it’s a no from me, dawg. And not because I don’t have the money (because I absolutely do not) but mainly because I don’t want to be the first person wearing this mess who gets clipped by a city bus while not paying attention. And I’m in good company, as people have seen the ad, as well as the price tag, and decided Apple has finally lost their ever-loving minds.
The reaction to the price of the Apple Vision Pro though! 😂😭 pic.twitter.com/5MCRhEtHMQ

every apple announcement looks like act 1 of a sci-fi movie where the big company announces a technology that will inadvertently cause the collapse of civilisation pic.twitter.com/5MsDDAGvLA

Apple pricing that headset at $3500 is so funny. Yeah man people can’t wait to throw down a couple month’s rent so that emails can chase them through their house like The Shining

With a cumbersome form and a $3500 price tag, Apple’s headset seeks to take VR back to its 1990s roots: A thing you try out at the mall and say “wow this is cool I bet in 30 years they’ll have a comfortable version I can afford” pic.twitter.com/PTe0JODRrx

Now wait. Before you get discouraged, you have until next year to save your coins for this latest slice of Apple fuckery. And if buying one leaves you without a home, you can just use your new Apple Vision Pro to create your new surroundings with help from a few “mansion tour” videos on YouTube. It will be just like living in the lap of luxury without any of the expensive utility bills.
