Bruce Springsteen is currently on an international tour, giving people’s ears a taste of all of his beloved hits. Most recently, The Boss was found in Barcelona doing his usual thing of singing and shaking his ass. However, this particular show took a turn for the Mad Libs when the singer brought former FLOTUS Michelle Obama and timeless actress Kate Capshaw on stage to play backup on Glory Days. A resounding “QUE??” went up throughout the audience as they didn’t know they were going to get the sight of Michelle Obama and Kate Capshaw yodeling along to a Bruce Springsteen song.

Spaniards paid to see Bruce sing Born in the USA but got a bizarre surprise when some truly random famous people came on stage. via Uproxx:

Bruce Springsteen‘s concert at Barcelona’s Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys had some very special surprise guests. Most notably, Michelle Obama joined The Boss on stage as she sung along with him for “Glory Days.” Michelle was also joined by actress Kate Capshaw for background vocals. (Steven Spielberg is married to her.)

The ladies even got their own microphone and some tambourine, as they jammed out to the nostalgic track, while the rest of the E Street Band played. Fans are loving the energy, with one writing, “Michelle Obama on the stage with Bruce Springsteen in Barcelona, because in the end it’s Springsteen’s world and we’re just guests.”

Here’s Michelle Obama and Kate Capshaw singing back-up for The Boss:

Michelle really knows how to handle that tambourine! The background here is that a bunch of rich famous people had dinner together and decided to do karaoke for hundreds of paying customers. Springsteen was with the Obamas and Kate’s husband Steven Spielberg, earlier in the evening. I guess they had a few too many sangrias, which resulted in the gals performing on stage. If I were there, I’d be demanding that everyone get off stage and let Kate do Anything Goes!
