Kanye West Says He Likes Jewish People Again Because Of Jonah Hill’s Performance In The “21 Jump Street” Movie

The past few months have been nice and quiet since Kanye West slapped a muzzle on himself after his antisemitic tirade. And we definitely needed a moment of reprieve before he began flapping his gums and letting his hot air pollute the planet with words. Well, the break is over, and Yeezy is back again! But this time, it’s not to throw his new Kim Klone Wife in our faces. Instead, Yeezy realizes it’s not nice to hate anyone, so he has made an announcement that he once again likes Jewish people! And we have Jonah Hill‘s tour-de-force performance in 21 Jump Street to thank for his recent change of heart. ANTI-SEMITISM IS OVER!

Deadline reports Yeezy decided to spring ahead with the rest of us and came out of his hibernation to make this joyous proclamation. Now, I’m all for people making better choices with their lives, but this is just odd. Because I don’t think of race relations or history lessons when I think of 21 Jump Street. As a matter of fact, I don’t think of 21 Jump Street at all unless it’s the original show from the 80s with Holly Robinson Peete belting out the theme song like the rent was due. But the movie? Not so much. Luckily for us, Kanye wants to amend his past comments on Jewish people, and he took to Instagram to praise the film and shout out Jonah Hill with words of praise as well.

“Watching Jonah Hill in 21 Jump street made me like Jewish people again,” he wrote on the platform alongside a poster for the 2012 film.

“No one should take anger against one or two individuals and transform that into hatred towards millions of innocent people. No Christian can be labeled antisemite knowing Jesus is Jew. Thank you Jonah Hill I love you.”

Sir, what in the absolute hell are you talking about? You go dark for months, and then you come back with…..this? And I’m not the only one who believes this is probably one of Yeezy’s biggest flops to date, as the congregation over on Twitter has no Mazel Tovs for this latest moment of self-discovery.

And what does Jonah Hill have to say about this? Nothing as of yet because he’s probably just as confused as the rest of us. But in any event, I guess the takeaway here is that even campy buddy comedies can teach us all something. But in the case of 21 Jump Street, I believed the real lesson is that casting 30-year-olds to play pretend teenagers will never go out of style. I guess that means I’m not as deep as Yeezy. Ah well.
