Ariana Madix Speaks Out On The “Scandoval”
Two weeks after the Vanderpump Rules Scandoval affair scorched the Bravo-verse and caused Andy Cohen to prolapse with glee over all the attention, Ariana Madix has finally released a statement to share her side of their story. As those who care know, Ariana dumped her co-star/boyfriend of 9 years, Tom Sandoval, after discovering he was having a months-long affair with fellow VPR castmate Raquel Leviss. Both Tom and Raquel have already dropped standard apologies, and now Ariana is talking. Ariana, who deleted her Instagram Megan Fox-style after the news broke out, reactivated her account to share her side of the story and thank her friends, VPR castmates, and fans for the “outpouring of love and support.”
Here is Ariana’s statement:
Her statement comes about a week after both Tom and Raquel released their own statements attempting to answer for their sins and apologize to Ariana, who probably won’t be forgiving them anytime soon since she signed off her statement with, “what doesn’t kill me better run.”
Page Six says that currently, no one on the Pump Rules cast is speaking to either Tom or Raque. They are probably waiting for the season 10 reunion to obliterate them in front of the cameras. Since the current season is still airing, they’re not allowed to huddle by their podcast mics and spill their thoughts on the affair. In fact, the only people who were able to boost their platform with Scandoval were ex-cast members Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder, who were both fired after former cast member Faith Stowers recalled a racist incident in which the duo falsely accused her of theft and called the police on her. Loving every second of Scandoval, Kristen talked about the situation in her podcast Sex, Love, and What Else Matters, saying that she thinks Raquel sought out a temporary restraining order against cast mate Scheana Shay to avoid having to be at the VPR reunion. Raquel accused Scheana of punching her after finding out about the affair. Kristen calls the restraining order “convenient” and claims Scheana didn’t hit Raquel.
Vanderpump Rules‘ ratings have doubled to 2.2 million viewers ever since this mess broke out, so there’s no doubt that Andy will do what it takes to get Raquel at the reunion. And there’s also no doubt that Bravo is going to milk this for every last drop and the reunion will be 10 parts long, at least! And it will end with crew members pulling out a boxing ring as Andy says to Raquel and Scheana, “Ready for round two?” That part will be pay-per-view, of course.
