In “Vanderpump Rules” Scandoval News: Raquel Leviss Filed For A Restraining Order Against Scheana Shay, And Raquel And Tom Sandoval Each Issued An Apology To Ariana Madix
If you’re a fan of the Bravo-verse or care about someone who is, you’ve probably had a busy couple of days trying to keep up with the constant barrage of the Vanderpump Rules Tom Sandoval/Raquel Leviss/Ariana Madix scandal, coined “Scandoval,” since new developments have been popping up pretty much hourly. One of the pieces of this whole mess we heard about was Raquel and Tom’s VPR cast mate Scheana Shay allegedly punching Raquel in the face after learning of Raquel’s affair with Tom behind Ariana’s back. Now, Raquel has sought a restraining order against Scheana. And Tom and Raquel finally issued individual apologies to Ariana for being absolute garbage people who have “work to do.”
Raquel (née Rachel; thanks, Hillary “Hilaria” Baldwin), 28, and Scheana, 37, appeared together on Watch What Happens Live last Wednesday right before the news of Raquel and Tom creeping around behind Ariana’s back surfaced. Rumors swirled that upon finding out, Scheana punched Raquel in the face for betraying Ariana. TMZ says that according to court records, Raquel filed for a restraining order against Scheana yesterday. Well, this is one way for Rachel to skip having to answer for herself at the upcoming VPR Reunion.
And today, Raquel released a statement to Entertainment Tonight about the whole ordeal and finally apologized directly to Ariana, 37; since sending an Edible Arrangement for clapping cheeks with her man of almost a decade for at least the past seven months in the next room while she was sleeping or IN HER BED while she wasn’t home probably wouldn’t cut it. Raquel says she’s working with a counselor to figure out her tendency to make poor choices and the lengths she’s gone to feel loved. Well, shit, how loved are you feeling now, Rach? She also mentioned being physically assaulted in the aftermath. Although she didn’t mention Scheana’s name, it’s pretty easy to put two-and-two together between this and the restraining order:
This brings us to Tom, 40, who also released a second apology on Instagram today after the internet ate him alive for not mentioning Ariana by name in his first weak attempt a few days ago. In this new one, he says he made reckless choices that had to be devastating to her and that he “acted in a way that clashes with who and how I want to be.” No sir, we’ve seen you cheat on ex-cast member/ex-girlfriend Kristen Doute before (maybe even with Ariana; no one on this show is 100% decent) AND skip Ariana’s birthday festivities to instead go to Vegas with the guys to crush things with a bulldozer. This is exactly who you are.
We’ve yet to reach the “toothbrush up the ass” phase of all of this, but surely it’s coming. How cute of Raquel and Tom to summon the love powers of their matching lightning bolt necklaces to have their crisis PR teams release these apologies within a few hours of each other. But has anyone issued an apology to Andy Cohen’s housekeeper for probably having to follow him around with Fabuloso and a mop for the last week? Because he is absolutely creaming himself over the shitstorm this continues to cause minute-by-minute, and there are still two more weeks until the Vanderpump Reunion films!
