Fired “Vanderpump Rules” Cast Member Stassi Schroeder Is Pregnant

Impending nuptials and a first pregnancy are incredibly special and cherished occasions for wanna be influencers/b-plot reality TV stars. So it’s under especially tragic circumstances that Stassi Schroeder, who was recently fired from Vanderpump Rules after, as she put it, “racially insensitive comments from her past resurfaced,” announces that she and her fiancé Beau Clark are expecting a baby. The timing really couldn’t be worse. If those racially insensitive comments had resurfaced just a few months later, she might have been able to use the HEAVILY PREGNANT excuse and avoided the embarrassing consequence of getting swiftly shit canned from multiple gigs in a single week. It’s a shame, really.

Stassi was one of four cast members to be fired from the show after Faith Stowers, VPR’s only Black castmember, came forward with allegations that Stassi and fellow castmate Kristen Doute racially bullied her, even going so far as to falsely implicate her in a crime to police. Stassi burped up the aforementioned apology, but it was too little too late and she was dropped by her agent, and her publicist, and had her podcast yanked in the same amount of time it takes to finish a Vanilla Rosé-Spiced White Tears Frappuccino from Starbucks, which is no time at all. Yum! Since her publicist quit, I guess she called Us Weekly herself.

Stassi Schroeder‘s life goes on … with or without Vanderpump Rules. The Bravo alum is pregnant and expecting her first child with her fiancé, Beau Clark, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal.

Schroeder, 31, covered her baby bump with a long cardigan while picking up food with Clark, 40, in Los Angeles on Friday, June 12.

News of the reality star’s pregnancy comes four days after she was fired from Vanderpump Rules following eight seasons on the show.

Us reports that “Stassi and her family are truly devastated about everything going on, and Stassi does feel like she has lost everything she worked so hard for,” which is understandable because not being racist as a second-string reality TV personality, is right up there with coal miner and public school teacher as one of the hardest jobs in America.

In addition to having a slightly harder time pimping her pregnancy and eventual baby out on TV and Instagram, Stassi’s also going to have to come out of pocket to pay for her upcoming wedding, an expense I’m sure she was counting on being picked up by Bravo.

Schroeder and Clark, 40, who got engaged in July 2019, were set to air their upcoming wedding on season 9 of Vanderpump Rules before she was fired. While the twosome originally planned to wed in Italy in October 2020, she revealed later that their plans were likely being moved to Rome in October 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Now she’ll probably have to pay for it using residuals from already sold copies of her book Next Level Basic. But that’s OK, I hear Olive Garden is beautiful in the fall.
