Wendy Williams Is Back In Her Purple Chair For Her Podcast
Wendy Williams is back, I think. After leaving her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, earlier this year over health-related woes, Wendy declared that she’s moving her legendary shit-talking from TV to the world of podcasting. And that podcasting is actually coming, I think. Wendy announced yesterday that her podcast,The Wendy Experience, will soon hit earholes. Yes, she stole Joe Rogan‘s show name, and I love that for her!
Wendy recently completed a two-month stint in rehab after going through it. And yesterday, she announced on Instagram that she’s ready to drag tricks once again. Wendy does not actually say when we can expect the podcast to be released, but hey, at least we know that she filmed an episode. Or maybe she just sat in a chair and took a picture? Regardless, that’s progress! via Page Six:
Wendy Williams was all smiles as she took her place in the iconic purple chair she used on “The Wendy Williams Show” for over 12 years… The 58-year-old star took to Instagram on Thursday to tell her fans to “stay tuned” for her upcoming podcast, The Wendy Experience, adding, “About Last NIGHT… Team WENDY!”
Williams — who kept things casual in a pair of black leggings, a sweatshirt with the podcast’s logo on it and a pair of fuzzy boots — was also joined by her management team for one of the photos.

Wendy’s Instagram followers were supportive in her comments, saying, “Good to see you in the purple chair,” and “You look amazing Wendy! We are waiting for your return! Let’s go! How you doing!” But at least one fan was ready to remind Wendy to pace herself since she’s been through it:
“We love you. Your health and well-being is the top priority, please care for yourself,” a third added. “The way we treat ourselves should be the same as if it was someone we were caring for.”
Very excited to see what topics Wendy decides to cover for her first episode back in the spotlight. She has so much ground to cover. I mean, the woman who made a Price Is Right joke about a woman being thrown to her death has got to have some hot takes on the Will Smith slap, Takeoff‘s murder, anything to do with Kanye West, and much more. She’ll get canceled on her very first day back!
