Open Post: Hosted By The Taco Bell Customer Who Held Up A Drive-Thru Line By Ordering $300 Worth Of Tacos

Taco Bell is both a much beloved and much maligned fast-food establishment within the American psyche. It’s not uncommon to hear a person decry the menu for being “terrible fake Mexican food” only to turn around to see them blissfully scarfing down four Chalupa Supremes at 3 AM after a big night out. For better or for worse, deep down we all love Taco Bell. However, some people don’t need to wait until after midnight to satisfy their Crunchwrap cravings. A recent patron of the restaurant decided to Live Mas by ordering nearly $300 worth of tacos, much to the chagrin of those waiting in line behind them!

The event happened at a Taco Bell drive-thru, one of the most soul-crushing places you will ever find yourself in. We probably wouldn’t have heard about this moment if it wasn’t for an angry customer who shamed the extreme taco enthusiast on TikTok. via In The Know:

A woman blasted a Taco Bell customer for ordering nearly “$300 worth of tacos” and holding up the drive-thru line.

The incident took place at a Taco Bell drive-thru around 11:30 p.m. TikToker @emily._.stott claimed that she waited 40 minutes in line, along with dozens of other drivers, because the customer ahead of her placed a massive order.

When asked in the comments how long it took, the TikToker stated, “40 mins I was in line and after I yelled the person who ordered all that s*** looked embarrassed AF and used her hand to cover her face. 40 MIN.”

In the video, you can see a portion of the order which includes some Chalupas, Cinnabon treats, and hot sauces. It totals to $241.29. The TikToker, angry that she would be waiting for the length of an episode of prestige TV to receive a burrito, jumped out of her car to explain to the rest of the waiting customers why they were stuck in the queue from hell. Some of the commenters who previously worked at Taco Bell stated that the employees shouldn’t have taken the order and just told the customer to call ahead. I don’t know what’s more shocking in this story: the fact that some person requested an obscene amount of tacos or that the line was THAT long. I don’t think the woman should have been shamed for her taco fetish though. We all succumb to our cravings! I wish that person Godspeed when it came to actually consuming the order. I can’t imagine the carnage of the next day!
