Open Post: Hosted By Kate Bosworth And Justin Long Going Instagram Official
Well, that didn’t take long. Nothing? Let me try again. Well, that didn’t take long. You know, as in it didn’t take Kate Bosworth very LONG to go from being married to director Michael Polish for 8 years, to going Instagram official with her House of Darkness co-star Justin Long who she met on set. Come on folks, give me a break. I’m doing my best in #thesecontinuedtryingtimes. At least it’s better than the sweaty Polished dong joke I started with!
Back in May of 2021, a then still very much married Kate posted a glowing review of Justin’s character and personality on Instagram coupled with a bunch of pictures of two people who are obviously, let’s just say close (to fucking if not already fucking). Three months later, Kate announced, also on Instagram, that she and her husband Michael were ending things in a lengthy caption talking about “we believe the most epic love stories are those which transcend expectation. Our greatest honor has been to experience love like this,” yadda, yadda, yadda. Then, in December Justin said his girlfriend likes pineapple on her pizza on a podcast but didn’t say who his girlfriend was. But he wasn’t fooling anybody. And now that their movie will probably be released soon, the subterfuge is over and Kate and Justin are now IG official. E! News reports:
The Accepted actor and Superman Returns actress seem to be Instagram official on May 24, with Justin posted a photo of himself and Kate sharing a pint of Guinness while on vacation in Ireland.
In a series of cute selfies, the two are seen taking a sip of the foam at the top of a new pour at the same time, then pulling back and smiling with a beer mustache on their top lips.
Kate commented on the post, “I’m the luckiest.”

What a delight for that man sitting behind them. It’s not like Kate and Justin have been hiding their relationship this past year. E! says that they “enjoyed a PDA-packed trip to the beach in Kauai, Hawaii in April,” and earlier this week while talking to Chelsea Handler on her podcast, Justin confirmed that Kate is the girlfriend who likes pineapple on her pizza, noting that he had kept things quiet before because “there’s something about it, for me, that I feel like I need to protect and keep sacred because it feels sacred.” I don’t know who in their right mind would be that reverent about Kate liking pineapple on her pizza, but you never know what’s going on with these celebrities.
