Hot Slut Of The Day!
Nintendo Cereal System!
Oh, look, it’s yet another cereal from the 1980s that I begged my mega healthy mom for, only for her to say, “Okay, okay, I’ll let you add an extra half teaspoon of honey in your bowl of Grape Nuts.” But seriously, because the 1980s was the golden era of cereal where a company would collapse into a pile of dust if it didn’t put out a cereal, there was a Nintendo cereal. Actually, excuse me. It wasn’t just a cereal. It was a cereal SYSTEM!
Wikipedia says that Nintendo joined forces with Ralston Cereals (which later merged with Nestle) to create the Nintendo Cereal System, which earned the right to call itself a “cereal system” since it revolutionized the cereal game with its technologically advanced box! And by that I mean, Ralston pretty much copied one of their older cereals, Nerds cereal from 1985. Because like Nerds, the box was split into two sections: the Super Mario Bros. side and the Zelda side. via Wikipedia:
The cereal box has two vertical bags inside, each containing a different cereal. One side, called the “Super Mario Bros. Action Series”, consists of fruity-flavored characters and items: Marios, Super Mushrooms, Goombas, Koopa Troopas, and Bowsers. The other side of the box, known as the “Zelda Adventure Series”, consists of berry-flavored characters and items: Links, hearts, keys, boomerangs, and shields.[4] Inside the box is a sticker of a Nintendo character, and on the back panel is a set of twelve trading cards called “Nintendo Power Cards”. It also presents now-defunct offers to win a Power Pad NES accessory or a Super Mario cereal bowl.
Nintendo Cereal System came out in 1988 and the world was obviously not ready for its way too forward cereal system, because it was taken off shelves for good a year later in 1989. But its fuckery lives on, partly thanks to this commercial which makes it seem like the not-so-secret ingredient in Nintendo Cereal System was LSD. But then again, I think the not-so-secret ingredient of every cereal in the 1980s was LSD.
Nintendo Cereal System also lives on thanks to eBay. Nintendo Cereal System must be a hot commodity amongst nerds because one box is currently going for $275 on eBay, and boxes have recently been sold for over $200. Fuck NFT and Crypto, it’s all about the Nintendo Cereal System! This just proves that Elon Musk is a mess because instead of trying to buy Twitter, he should buy up all the boxes of Nintendo Cereal System that he can. It’s a much better investment, obviously!
