Hot Slut Of The Day!

Ms. Cynthia Carter, the Popeyes Chanteuse of Kenner, Louisiana!
Ms. Cynthia has been a local celebrity in Kenner for a bit now thanks to her giving the Love That Chicken At Popeyes choir a run for their money as the premier singing voice of Popeyes. If you drive through the drive-thru at Popeyes in Kenner, Louisiana, there’s a chance that you may get dinner AND a show courtesy of Ms. Cynthia who has become known for singing orders back to customers for years. But I just learned about the talent of Ms. Cynthia after she went viral again. “Love that singing (from Ms. Cynthia) at Popeyes” is the new “Love that chicken at Popeyes.”
Ms. Cynthia has been the Singing Queen of the Drive-Thru of Popeyes in Kenner for over 15 years. She’s gone viral before, she was on an episode of Undercover Boss, and she was featured on The Meredith Vieira Show in 2014 where she was given an SUV. And this week, the internet was graced with the magic of Ms. Cynthia when a video was posted on Facebook of an extremely entertaining back and forth between a customer and Ms. Cynthia. At the Popeyes in Kenner, you get a million rays of uplifting sunshine courtesy of Ms. Cynthia along with your chicken!
Last month, NOLA.com did a profile on the gift that is Ms. Cynthia and she says that she started singing orders and calling customers “honey dumplin‘” when the city was going through horrible times after Hurricane Katrina. One customer decided to lift spirits up a bit by singing his order, and that inspired Ms. Cynthia. And a STAR was born!
Carter said her upbeat musical personae was inspired by a customer who, sometime during the dreary recovery era after Katrina, arrived at her window unexpectedly singing his order. “He said, ‘I need a two-piece, white meat, spicy, with frIIIIIIIES,’” she recalled, laughing. From then on out, Carter has been lifting spirits with a similar strategy.
“I’m a people person,” she said, understating the matter. “Somebody’s got to make somebody else’s day.”
It’s not just an act, Carter said. She’s really as happy as she seems. “I don’t play,” she advised.
And here’s more of Ms. Cynthia serving up a hefty dose of happiness to her customers:
Ms. Cynthia tells NOLA.com that she plans to retire soon, and when she does, Popeyes better hand her a gigantic check as a goodbye and thank you gift. As to how big that check should be, well, for the past 15 years, Ms. Cynthia has been entertaining many during her residency at Popeyes. And Adele was reportedly going to make $2 million a show for entertaining many during her abandoned residency at Caesars Palace. So Popeyes can start there…
