Adele Will Reportedly Make $2 Million Per Show During Her Las Vegas Residency

Last month, Adele announced that she’s doing a residency in Las Vegas at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, called Weekends with Adele. The name Weekends with Adele makes it sound like some cute little Saturday afternoon thing where she sits in her lounge pants and eats a brunch plate of eggs benedict on stage while gossiping with the front row, but oh no, this is a real deal show that has already sold out every seat. And, it’s not like she’s doing it for a free plate of eggs from the Bacchanal Buffet. Adele will reportedly earn more than $2 million per show.

Billboard reports that Adele is scheduled to perform 24 shows during the Weekends with Adele residency, which happens from January 21st through to April 16th. Ticket prices reportedly ranged from $85 to $5000 (they’re going for up to $35,000 on resale sites), and with all the tickets selling out, Adele will make an insane amount of money. And not just Adele! Ticketmaster, who facilitated the ticket sales, and Caesar’s Palace, who is hosting the residency, also cashed in hard. via The Daily Mail:

An estimate of 100,000 overall tickets went on sale for the 24 shows at the venue, which has a capacity of around 4,200. [Billboard] reported that ticket prices to see the Grammy-winning artist ranged from $5,000 each for the front three rows in the orchestra from Ticketmaster’s platinum program; $860 each for the Colosseum’s front section; and $600 for the front portion of the upper balcony at the venue.

The totals also include Ticketmaster fees which range from 27 percent to 32 percent. About $600,000 in income per show was made in fees for Ticketmaster and the Colosseum, according to the report.

So, with 24 shows, at about $2 million each, Adele’s little three-month residency will allegedly make her $48 million. It’s never been revealed how much Adele had to pay out to her former husband Simon Konecki when they got divorced, but something tells me Adele is pleased with having some extra millions stuffed back into her bank account. Plus, maybe she could take some of that $48 million and pay off her bodyguard to keep quiet while she slips out to an Apple Store, and uses a little more of that $48 million to buy herself a burner phone that has access to a secret Instagram account. Her assistants might have her Instagram password, but they can never take away her freedom to sneakily regret-post!
