Open Post: Hosted By Jennifer Garner Stink-Shaming Her Cat

If you happen to follow Jennifer Garner’s Instagram account, you know that the reason her 11.6 million followers are showing up is to see the real star of the show, Moose, her apathetic, attention-shy giant grey cat. Moose has made an appearance in this space before, but that was when Jennifer Garner zipped up Moose in a cozy kitty hoodie. Moose is once again front and center in a viral moment, except this time, it’s all because of poor Moose’s inability to shake a turd loose from his hind leg fur after a trip to the litter box. Poor Moose! The life of a celebrity cat shouldn’t be so embarrassing.
Yesterday, Jennifer decided to document the process of giving Moose a sink bath, which was necessitated by Moose smelling like shit, literally. Jennifer explained that Moose “pooped his pants,” and that he was “befouled” to the point of needing a scrub down with shampoo. Moose has long fur, and anyone with a long-haired cat knows that sometimes they can be seen trotting down the hallway with a filthy kitty caboose full of carry-on baggage in the rear. Moose looks mortified. Jennifer then added insult to injury by claiming Moose is dealing with an “obesity problem” as she lifted him into the sink. Feline fat shaming too? Moose can’t catch a break.
At several points in the video, Moose is seen attempting to escape from his watery prison while Jennifer uses a rubber-gloved hand to yank the turd out of Moose’s fur. He manages to get in a couple of swipes at her, yet his efforts are futile. Moose remains in the bath until he’s completely washed clean. Although Moose had officially had it before she got around to the conditioner. So not only was Moose forced to suffer the indignity of a public pooper scrub down, but he’s also walking around out here with dry, unmanageable fur? I’m shocked Moose hasn’t learned how to dial a phone and spilled every one of Jennifer’s secrets to TMZ as revenge!
