Grimes Claims That Elon Musk Doesn’t Fund Her Music Career

If you had a baby with one of the richest men in the world you’d think that you wouldn’t have to worry about money in any way shape or form ever again. But it seems that is not the case for Grimes. Grimes revealed on TikTok that the father of her baby, 50-year-old billionaire Elon Musk, does not put money into her music career. And so she recently had to sign with a label after being independent for years. BuzzFeed says that the Internet has reacted accordingly and it seems pretty official what the consensus is: Grimes fumbled the Billionaire Bag.

On TikTok, Grimes posted a new song of hers called 100% Tragedy and said that her new label, Columbia Records, doesn’t think it’s single. So she asked her followers what they thought about that:

100% Tragedy #grimes #dancer #choreography 100%Tragedy 🤍🧚🏻‍♀️ @symonekimeka @rayjrv

A fan asked Grimes why she would sign to a label in the first place. Grimes explained she needed to get out of the indie scene because she wanted money for videos and stuff. And that despite popular belief, she just dates a billionaire with an awful personality for HIS HEART. That made many think that Grimes is even weirder than they thought because who in this universe would date Elon Musk for his personality and not only for his billions?!

Well hey, maybe Grimes isn’t completely stupid for not taking money from Elon for her career. I mean, Erika Jayne had her husband fund her pop career, and now that he’s embezzled people it didn’t really turn out too hot for her, did it? But Grimes shouldn’t have signed to a label, she should have just waited until her genius baby was old enough to learn how to farm Bitcoin and then used that.
