Hot Slut Of The Day!
Taco Thomas, the taco truck owner who did a wellness check on a loyal customer after he hadn’t seen her in a while!
This week has given us lots of depressing and soul-punching stories, so here’s an uplifting one that may soothe your insides like a delicious carne asada street taco. Taco Thomas owns a taco truck in Vancouver, Washington, and this week the internet found out that he’s not only a purveyor of taco deliciousness, but he’s also a purveyor of kindness. Because one of his customers posted an old voicemail of him calling to check in on her after she went MIA for a bit. PAGING SPECTRUM! PAGING SPECTRUM! Take a crash course in excellent customer service from Taco Thomas because you rude messes need it!
Newsweek has pointed me to a TikTok made by user SidewalkPizza who goes by the name of Ker. Ker used that dreaded “waking up in the morning” sound from Gia Giudice (a sound that fills my head when I’m waking up in the morning, thinking about so many things) to share a voicemail that Taco Thomas left her three years ago. In the voicemail, which Ker has made private on her TikTok, Taco Thomas basically coos out, “Iiiiiii juuuuust caaaallled to saaaaaaaaay hoooowww areeeee youuuuu?”
This is Thomas from the taco truck, hey, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen you and I’m worried about you. How are you? I hope you’re good. Okay, take care, buh-bye.
Ker said in another TikTok that Taco Thomas is an angel and that she’s been regularly going to his taco truck for about 12 years. She explained that he has her phone number because his taco truck goes to different places so she texts him to see where he’s at. In 2018, she was dealing with health issues, which is why she wasn’t able to get tacos from Taco Thomas for eight months. But as soon as she was better, she paid a visit to him.
And in a third video, Ker paid a visit to Taco Thomas and gave him $351 that people donated to show their appreciation for him being kind and humble. Taco Thomas thanked everyone for the love and cash:
“If you are local go by his family truck and support his business,” she added.
After receiving the donations, Thomas added: “I just want to say thank you to everybody. I know it’s from your heart.”
So let’s see, all I have to do to get extra money is be kind and caring to people… Yeah, no, still too much work for me. But if you need a reason to prove that God is everywhere, point to Taco Thomas who makes tacos AND goes above and beyond with his customer service. That is a gift from above!
