Remember how Sinead O’Connor announced her retirement from recording new music and touring? Well, she didn’t mean that and regrets saying it, the same way her butt probably regretting her taking on The Difficult Brown challenge at first. Sinead explained that announcing she’s quitting that bitch was a knee-jerk reaction to how she was badly triggered by several British and Irish media outlets who ignored her request to not ask about the child abuse she suffered and other traumatic experiences while talking to her about her new memoir. Sinead being Sinead called them “pigs in lipstick” and that the BBC fucked her in the ass without lube or warning. So she’s not retiring and will continue to perform. Good! Because Sinead can’t retire until she makes her triumphant return to Saturday Night Live, where she’ll hopefully tear up a picture of Lorne Michaels for the show banning her all those years ago! – NME
