Wendy Williams Is Single Again
56-year-old Wendy Williams met a man on her talk show during a “Date Wendy” segment which to me was slightly tragic, but I feel like that’s also Wendy’s brand. 55-year-old Mike Esterman won the mini dating competition and ended up actually hanging out with Wendy afterward. This is more than we can say about some of the couples from The Bachelor, to be honest. But unfortunately for Wendy, it didn’t last and the couple has broken up allegedly because of their differing timetables. LOVE. IS. DEAD. But I think we all know it’s actually because Mike got tired of all of Wendy’s farting.
Wendy finally divorced her cheating ex-husband, Kevin Hunter Sr., in April 2019 after they’d been together for over 20 years. Kevin’s secret baby was the nail in that coffin, and since then Wendy has been out and about and dating men like she’s Carrie Bradshaw with an article to hand in. But sadly things with real-estate man Mike did not pan out, so I guess it’s on to the next.
The Sun reported that the couple had “drifted apart,” and later Mike confirmed to Page Six that they were over but also said they never really ever got out of those starting phases and really dated. Does he mean sex? Because Wendy seemed hard up for it.
“She deserves to be with someone who may have more time,” Esterman told Page Six on Monday…
The Maryland-based contractor added that they were “never an item after 3 dates.”
“I had placed all work-related tasks aside to get to know her on a personal level, no angles or hidden agendas,” he continued. “I can only wish her the best as we both continue the search at our own paces and remain friends in the process… I have enjoyed our times together and felt great to be able to make her laugh.”
Mike lives in Maryland, and while Wendy visited him, it seems it just didn’t work out.
Shocking result for a five-minute dating show segment as part of a talk show. Wendy Williams may be single again but hey, at least she’ll always have her Madame Tussaud’s wax figure to keep her company:
