Wendy Williams Cuddled Up To A New Man She Met On Her Show
Wendy Williams had a messy divorce from her second husband, Kevin Hunter Sr. who went out and cheated on her and created a whole side family. Wendy eventually got over it (did she?) and wished the family well, and moved on to date “many men”, like a doctor and an armed robber. Well, Wendy went public with a new potential love interest. Or maybe she’s trying to get some attention? Or both! Who knows, but last month a guy won a dating segment on The Wendy Williams Show and now Wendy’s posing with him on Instagram and calling him a “REAL gentleman.” Let’s not go crazy here. Considering Wendy’s last husband had a side family, her bar for gentlemanhood may be pretty low.
People says that 56-year-old Wendy and 55-year-old Mike Esterman met when he was on her show as a contestant on the “Date Wendy” game show segment last month. Sure, it was a game–wink. We know the producers were desperate to get this woman laid again so she could stop peeping on her neighbors in the shower. It may have been a success. She got the 411 on Mike, who was one of three finalists and he let Wendy know he’s in it to win it:
The pair chatted virtually about their ideal date (a boxing match) and favorite foods (crabs from Esterman’s native Maryland) before she asked, “Why are you the one for me?”
“It seems like we have a lot in common,” he replied. “I’m a guy that loves to have fun and you seem like the same type of fun person that I would love to get to know, and if you’re feeling the fever I’ve got a prescription.”
“If you’re feeling the fever, I’ve got a prescription.” Hmm… Interesting choice in pick-up line for these tense times we’re living in. But it worked on Wendy. Mike, who’s in real estate and home improvement, caught Wendy’s eye and she picked him:
“No way! You serious? I get the chance to meet Wendy in person?” he said, continuing to charm the star. “By the way, it’s a beautiful dress you got there and I’m not just saying that.”
After making her decision, Williams explained that she chose Esterman because the two are “age-appropriate, and he’s got jokes and I like your shirt.”

A couple of laughs and a nice shirt? Low-bar, Wendy. Maybe there’s really something magical about Mike, though, because one month later and they’re still hanging out. Last Thursday, they were papped leaving NYC’s CORE Club together:

What do those men she mentioned have to do with her food? Why are they blocking her from fried chicken and fish? Why did only carrot cake get a hashtag? Discuss with whom? Wend is truly a pillar of mystery and I’m not just talking about her wig game.
I guess this proves that the path to love is truly through curating applications, going on television and questioning potential suitors, and then appointing a winner to date. Wow, The Bachelor was right! Someone tell Ellen Pompeo.
